of experience in television and commercial production. Since its
inception, 702 has

Originally
from New York, Rob Gatti has been based in Las Vegas for almost
15 years. Rob lived in Las Vegas previously for about two years
and began taking classes in editing and ENG at UNLV. Unfortunately,
Rob' s plans were put on hold after an accident forced him to move
back to New York for a period of time.
During his recuperation, Rob volunteered at Continental
Cablevision, the local cable network. Rob' s extensive experience
as a broadcast videographer and producer/director began during his
time at Continental where he shot, wrote, directed and produced
community event shows. During this time, Rob helmed many sports
and music themed products, which would prove to be a staple of his
future professional career. Rob also produced several documentaries
including A Story of Trains, a copy of which was requested by Frank
Sinatra (an avid train enthusiast) for his personal collection.
In 1991, Rob returned to Las Vegas to bring his accumulated
knowledge and experience into the vastly diversified production
market. He started work at KTNV 13 as a studio cameraman, but soon
his videography skills were noticed by ABCs 20/20 and Primetime
live and he became their freelancer of choice. In a short time he
was key videographer for several production companies and networks.
From 1992 – 1994 Rob served as videographer
for ESPN's Fly Fishing the World, and Fly Fishing America Series
as well as TNN' s North American Sportsman. Rob' s world
wide travel to Africa, South America, Mexico and Canada greatly
enhanced his production skills and experience.
In 1994, Rob co-founded Dreamsource Productions which
to date has been responsible for the production of over 400 action-adventure
shows. Some of Dreamsource's clients include ESPN, TNN, MTV/VH1,
Fox, Discovery and ABC. At the forefront of the current poker show
explosion, Dreamsource has produced U.S. Poker Championship, World
Series of Poker, World Poker Open and in 2002, brought poker to
Primetime on ESPN. When not producing poker, Rob was also the key
freelance videographer for Vh1 and MTV and ABC.
An accomplished, high-end videographer, Rob is also
a certified Stedi-cam operator. With a passion for telling stories
through pictures, Rob is a versatile videographer who is well qualified
to shoot in any format. Rob is also an experienced field producer
whose visual acumen adds a higher level of professionalism to any
project.
This year, Rob has been honing his skills as a producer
and gaining further production experience shooting reality shows
like Las Vegas Wedding Unveiled, Lifetime Channel' s Weddings
and rap star Missy Elliot' s new reality show while also line
producing for CBS's poker series.
With
degrees in both engineering and broadcast technology, Mark Ott has
immersed himself in emerging technologies since his early teenage
years. Beginning his professional career in television production
as both an editor and camera operator on The Jerry Springer Show
in his native Ohio, Mark' s richly diverse production skills continued
to evolve as he moved into television news. While working as a producer/director
for the ABC affiliate in Dayton, Ohio, Mark developed an interest
in editing. Here he added online and offline editing to his list
of production skills.
Mark landed in Las Vegas in 1999 following a three-year
stint as an online editor at Barrett Productions in Missoula, Montana.
While at Barrett, Mark edited programs for air on ESPN, ESPN2, TNN
and PBS. Mark' s return to Las Vegas, where he lived and worked
for a short time in 1997, was prompted by a job offer from Encore
Productions. Serving as both an online and offline editor at Encore,
Mark' s client list expanded globally to include television
editing for Premiere Network in Germany and Sky Sports in the UK
among others.
After his time at Encore, Mark moved on to Century Productions where
his client base as an online and offline editor continued to grow.
As an editor at Century, Mark worked with clients from all over
the world editing everything from commercial and corporate to narrative
projects with a wide range of budget levels. His clients included
Taco Bell, Pepsi, Ford, Microsoft, ABC, MTV, VH-1, Showtime. As
Mark developed relationships with these clients, many of them urged
him to go out of his own as an editor and encouraged him by offering
their business if he did.
Rick
graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
from Kansas State University. He first became involved in broadcasting
and production in 1981 as a weekend DJ for an FM radio station
in Kansas. From there, he worked in a succession of television
stations in Kansas and Texas doing everything from engineering
and production to news, promotions, and programming. During this
time he was involved in founding two low-power and two full-power
start-up television stations. In 1994, he moved to Las Vegas,
where he joined Century Productions as Director of Client Services.
Under Rick's guidance, he helped expand that facility and grow
it's client base prior to its sale in 2003. In January, 2006,
Rick joined 702 Productions as Operations Manager with the goal
of making 702 Productions the most cutting edge High Definition
production facility in Nevada.
John Stocker, born in San Diego and raised in Salt Lake City, is truly a son of the Southwest. After working as an editor in Salt Lake City, he moved to Las Vegas in 1996 where he has been Senior Editor for Post Digital and Encore Productions, and now 702 Productions. John’s experience includes a stint on the CBS television series “Promised Land,” and lead editor for the Discovery Channel series, “Casino Diaries.” John has received many Ema, Addy, and Aurora Awards for his editing work and confesses to being a Stars Wars, Video Games, Computers, and Avid Editing Systems junkie.
